Dave Williams

Mr. Williams is a Broker for the firm and one of the most experienced business brokers in Southwest Florida. Having practiced here since 1977, he has seen Southwest Florida grow from a small seasonal community into one of the fastest growing areas in the United States. In doing so he has developed unparalleled knowledge of the business community throughout Southwest Florida. During his long career Dave has either sold or supervised the sale of thousands of businesses. In many instances, he is now working with a third generation of business buyers and sellers. He has served multiple terms as a State Director for the Florida Business Brokers Association and was one of the founding members of the Southwest Florida FBBA Chapter.

Joe Marks

For nearly 20 years, Joe has provided expertise in a wide variety of sell-side and buy-side privately held business transactions. This award-winning broker has used his extensive experience to successfully evaluate, negotiate, structure and execute a broad spectrum of main street and lower middle market business transactions throughout the state of Florida. Joe has completed transactions in every major industry and uses these experiences to serve and lead clients to prosperous outcomes. He has extensive background in the consulting and hospitality industries, resulting in an intuitive knowledge of the needs and concerns of both sellers and buyers. Joe is uniquely qualified at developing creative solution for business acquisitions and divestitures and holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Management. His experience in management consulting varies from in-depth analysis of a nationally recognized Fortune 500 company to developing and implementing effective marketing strategies for a local start-up company.

Dan Smith

Mr. Smith is a Broker for the firm with over 15 years of combined experience in business brokerage, regional corporate management, business ownership and sales. Aside from business brokerage, he has extensive background in the agricultural equipment industry having been involved in the start-up and co-ownership of All Coast Tractor in Labelle, Florida and having held regional sales management positions with Mahindra USA and Woods Equipment Company. Mr. Smith has directed acquisitions between sellers and buyers ranging in value of $25,000 to over $7,000,000. He has consistently marketed and sold businesses in a variety of industries such as restaurants, retail, distribution, manufacturing, lawn & landscape, construction, marine and more. Andrew Welsh

Partner

Mr. Welsh is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Hospitality Management. He has extensive background in developing strategies for businesses and developing plans to meet constantly changing needs of a highly competitive business market. He has also successfully owned and operated 3 landmark restaurants in Southwest Florida. His 27 years of living in the Southwest Florida area have given him extensive knowledge of trends and growth of the local business market.

Richard Green

Associate / Business Broker

Mr. Green is a licensed Florida Business Broker with over 30 years of experience in the business arena, both in the U.K. and in the U.S. A serial Entrepreneur, Richard started his first business enterprise at the age of just 15. He studied Business and Computer Science at East Hertfordshire College in England. Richard worked in the real estate industry before transitioning to life as a CEO and entrepreneur in the world of Information Technology. At the age of 24, he founded Printext Ltd, specializing in the supply of laser printers to the corporate market in Central London. Over the coming 10 years he built the business to 60 employees with annual revenues of more than $5m. During that time, he also bought and developed a computer manufacturing business, Olympian Computers Ltd, which was subsequently sold to a major computer manufacturer. Richard went on to create and develop yet another major venture, Integrated Document Technology (IDT) Ltd, a software company specializing in software for the Legal and Financial Services Industries. The company grew very quickly, both organically and via numerous acquisitions, into yet another multi-million-dollar organization and was eventually sold 12 years later to a major NASDAQ listed U.S. Corporation. For the next 4 years, Richard worked as a business consultant for various major companies in the role of Business Development Director. In realizing a lifetime dream, Richard purchased an American company under the E2 Treaty Investor Visa Program and moved to Florida in 2014. Richard is responsive, hardworking, knowledgeable, honest and dedicated to his clients. It is his goal to help streamline the process for his clients, whether they are purchasing a new business, growing their business by acquisition, or aiming to sell their current business.

Glen Brown

Glen started his career in market development for a Fortune 200 corporation, which is what brought him to Southwest Florida. Larry Settle

Mr. Settle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He has over thirty-five years of management experience with a number of U.S. and international corporations including Corporate Investment, Borg-Warner, Textron, Sumitomo and Thyssen Krupp. He has held a variety of operations and senior management positions including President and General Manager. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, start-up, turnaround, expansion and divestiture.

Herm Remus

Mr. Remus holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He has been a Business Broker since 1975 specializing in analysis, valuation and ultimately in the marketing and acquisition of numerous businesses. Prior to 1975 I was a banking professional managing the commercial loan department for a National Bank. In addition, he taught accounting at the college level on a part time basis for 17 years. I am available for the sale and marketing of your business, or for the purchase of your next business venture.

Mike Tragakiss

Beyond a business degree, Mike holds several professional licenses including both real estate sales and appraisal of real property. His business experience spans 25 years and includes SBA lending, business valuations, small business consulting for the SBDC and owning a variety of business concerns from manufacturing to retail. Having been both a buyer and seller, Mike has a unique perspective and ability to understand the emotions behind the numbers in each business transaction. He can professionally guide the process from listing to closing and knows how to get loans approved while building sustainable financing structures. Peter Mazzagatti

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and Accounting. He has more than 30 years of experience as a business broker and is a former high school teacher, having taught Distributive Education and Accounting. During his career, he has successfully negotiated or sold well over 1,000 operating businesses, varying in price ranges from $50,000 to more than $5,000,000.
